CHAPTER 6: GRADUATE SCHOOL IN PSYCHOLOGY

This chapter will help students explore, prepare for, gain acceptance to, and succeed in their graduate education. It contains a time table for applying to graduate school, tips on preparing for and taking the GRE, and advice on how to prepare the personal statement that is a required part of most graduate school applications. It also includes descriptions of 15 areas of graduate school, describes the characteristics of successful graduate students, and contains a tongue-in-cheek test to measure potential for success in graduate school.
