The heart of any department is its academic program. This chapter describes the psychology department's curriculum, and lists the degrees it offers and their requirements. It describes the department's senior capstone course and explains the nature of the skills and knowledge required for and resulting from its successful completion. The department's model of critical thinking (upon which its curriculum is based) is also presented. The chapter concludes with a test to measure students' levels of academic responsibility and some advice to increase students' academic performance.
